Valomnia API: A new integration trail and an Easy Data Exchange

In an environment conducive to the development of mobile services, cloud, big data and IoT, the API is the main focus when addressing data and services integration. The application programming interface is a front platform through which a software/ an application offers services to other softwares/ applications.

Creation and set-up of API projects have shown exponential upward trends: a progressive approach promises to be widespread. In fact, by 2018, 85% of the companies will adopt APIs in order to de-compartmentalize their Information Systems, and transform their businesses and IT architectures.

Paris, October the 31st, 2016, Valomnia joins this movement and launches its programming interface of Valomnia API application for developers and integrators. This interface offers more contact points with users added to an intuitive data exchange between Valomnia and different client softwares or Information Systems.
Valomnia goal is to implement new integration approaches with other applications and services, and automate the boring and time-consuming data import and export methods.

The API gives customers an access to the data provided by Valomnia from their preferred platform, aiming at saving time and enhancing efficiency. The goal is to make the data exploitation as simple as possible, and to benefit, inter alia, from technology partnerships. These are the advantages of Valomnia API.”

With an API accessible from different channels, all “the devices” and Valomnia user interfaces allow the developer/integrator to:

  • Integrate third-party applications with Valomnia solutions and services easily.
  • Receive, create and update data related to Products, Prices, Customers, Orders, Invoices, Deliveries, Stock, etc, in JSON format.
  • Have a simplified access to complex services and data structures.
  • Use and Analyze the insights and the collected data from sales and distribution operations.
